Book lovers rejoice!

2024 marks the second annual year of the South Sound Book Crawl! The South Sound Book Crawl was founded to celebrate independent bookstores in the South Puget Sound and the readers who love them. Thriving bookstores benefit our communities and each bookstore has its own flair and personality. Join us on national Independent Bookstore Day to explore the bookstores in our region.

How it works:

Start by clicking Map It at the top of this page to see what stores are participating and to plan your route. You can save the locations to your Google Maps!

From April 27, 2024 through May 5, 2024, each participating store will have book crawl passports available. Pick up a passport at the first store you visit and collect your first stamp on the “Stores Visited” section of your passport.

Visit each participating store by the end of the day on May 5th to collect your remaining “Stores Visited” stamps! No purchase is necessary to get your stamps for visiting.

As soon as you have your last stamp, you’re eligible for a 20% discount on a single transaction at each participating store! (Some restrictions apply—please see the FAQ page for details.)

Your discount is valid one time at each store through April 25, 2025. On April 26 we start all over again!
